So little space, so much to do!

I just moved into my apartment a few weeks ago and although I'm almost fully unpacked (except a few boxes of dvds, books, frames and such) I'm not fully settled. I'm coming from a shared 2 bedroom to a charming studio of my own. My stuff can definitely all fit with some pushing and shoving. I need a few pieces of furniture, some shelves, some organization and some creativity to complete my new home. I want it to be comfortable, neutral colors, modern with a hint of vintage and turquoise. This blog will allow me to post different ideas I have and inspiration for decorating and furnishing my apartment Hopefully you can help me make some decisions because I get easily overwhelmed with this stuff!

this is my bubba's vanity, it's many years old and makes me very happy.

this is an end table that was in my bubba & zeyda's house. yes that's a fader mag with justin vernon on the cover that was sent to me in tel aviv while living there and made it back to nyc to sit on my end table. let's not forget my coaster's from seek vintage & the beautiful housewarming flowers my dad bought me.

lovely nook. painting it turquoise and will be sure to fill those frames (bought at a saks sample sale for $5 each) with people i actually know

bought this table two days before i moved into the apartment because it was on sale and wasn't going to last. now i need chairs, thoughts?

and then there's my couch from my old apartment. it needs some umph added to it. slipcover would be great but what color? love the pop of red from my bshorr popcorn pillow!
